Pink Diamonds was the largest collection of Australian pink diamonds ever to be shown globally. It was an exhibition displayed at Melbourne Museum in 2022 in partnership with New York based LJ West Diamonds displaying more than 100 gemstones from the Australian East Kimberley region.
Hohab undertook the spatial design, showcase specification and showcase fit out of the exhibition. The jewels were displayed on a series of tessellating shapes that created undulating landscapes within the cases. Strict security requirements informed the design layout which provided easy visitor access as well as clear sightlines throughout the space.
